The Operating Room at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA is a Level 1 Trauma, 24-hour/7 days per week department, with 36 operating rooms, one of which is specially equipped for Trauma, Cystoscopy, and Neuro Endovascular procedures.
Shift/Schedule Requirements Include:
The OR orientation requires a Monday-Friday schedule (7:30am - 3:30pm,) with an option of a permanent schedule of (.9) 36 hours weekly or (1.0) 40 hours weekly upon completion of the orientation timeframe.
Shifts rotate with different start times based on census. Weekend call is required at least twice within the 4-week schedule block, and includes Friday night through Sunday night. Call shifts must arrive within 45 minutes of the initial call time.
