• Department:  ST Structural Heart West
• Schedule:  FT Days
• Location:  Harding Pike

2 years Cardiac Experience preferred; Knowledge of Athena, PowerPoint and Cerner preferred; this is a Clinic based role supporting Structural Heart physicians and patients; as well as going to TAVR and Mitral procedures several days a week; heavy patient chart review, engagement with research department for ongoing trials; attending and leading valve conference weekly, boarding procedures and triaging nurse calls and questions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department.

• Develop and oversee program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develop and document care plans and therapy programs.
• Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.
• May supervise and direct nursing staff.
• Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
  hire.
