Duties: - Creates erection drawings with REVIT and Computer Aided Drafting to be used in both custom and standard projects as assigned by the District Engineer. Collaborates with Engineers and checkers to make sure the project's dimensions are accurate and the design can be successfully built and used in real-life site conditions.
- Generates detailed mechanical drawings with REVIT and Computer Aided Drafting software for corporate engineering group handoffs and warehouse applications.
- Enters equipment lists and checks equipment availability as required for projects. Makes adjustments when needed.
- Reviews with Checker, District Engineer, Corporate Production Engineer or other management personnel as needed.
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional drafting or education, a plus. General construction knowledge along with ability to read and interpret blueprints desired. Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations required. Ability to use Microsoft Excel required. ChatGPT experience required. Experience using Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software required. Experience using REVIT software preferred. Problem solving, organizational and PC skills are required. No travel required.
Final candidates will be required to pass a post-offer pre-employment physical and drug screen. EOE We participate in E-Verify.
