Description
This position is being offered as Regular Full-Time 10:00am-6:00pm shift. Specific days/hours of work are dependent upon the needs of the home and will be determined by the Residential Home Manager.
Job Purpose The Residential Assistant Manager acts as an assistant to the Manager to provide a safe and comfortable home environment for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental illness and/or serious emotional disorder by ensuring compliance with all mandated and regulatory standards.

Essential Duties - Assists clinical staff in planning, implementing, and monitoring each individual's individual plan of service.
- Advocates for and ensures that the rights of each individual are protected.
- Assists the Residential Manager to supervisor and balance expenditures for each individual's personal funds as requested.
- Assists the Residential Manager to coordinate and implement a staffing schedule, meetings, individual appointments, and training as requested.
- Assists with oversight of compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- Completes necessary paperwork in a timely manner, including monthly residential occupancy report, employee infection control form, manages performance indicators data sheet, petty cash data sheet, bills, etc. as requested.
- Assists the Residential Manager to maintain compliance with the budgetary guidelines set for the home as requested
- Assists the Residential Manager with supervision of residential support specialists and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Participates in interviewing, hiring, and training employees as requested.
- Plans, assigns, and directs work duties as requested.
- Addresses concerns and resolves problems.
- Advocates for residents and serves as a liaison for communication with guardians and other members of the care team.
- Performs the duties of the Residential Support Specialist and may be required to work a variety of different shifts.
Requirements
Education, Certifications, and/or Experience - Degree in a health-related field or nursing is preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with I/DD and MI required.
- Experience working in a licensed adult foster care preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
Salary Description
$21.51 to $27.34 per hour
