Our client, a trailblazing global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of a Analytical Research – Automation Scientist to join their dynamic team.

Location: Union County, NJ
Rate : Up to $36.14/hr
Duties:
- Tracking the preparation and analysis of hundreds of samples submissions per week using automation techniques and current assay guidelines.
- Setup, troubleshooting, and upkeep of automation equipment used for analysis which includes Tecan liquid handling robots and Agilent UPLCs.
- Preparing samples for UPLC analysis using automation tools.
- Data processing and interpretation.
- Calibration, repair, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Execution of sample testing and analysis within specified time frames.
- Routine physical testing of samples to support formulation development.
- Support routine laboratory activities including weekly eye-wash checks, shipping, and chemical inventory.
- Gravimetric and volumetric sample preparation and dilution.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in a related scientific field with minimum 1-3yrs of relevant experience (academic experience is ok).
- Gravimetric and volumetric sample preparation and dilution experience is required.
- Experience in modern liquid chromatography (Agilent UPLC preferably with Open Lab CDS).
- Experience in preparing and analyzing samples for solubility determination.
- Experience with Microsoft office products, Excel (Excel Macro Programming preferred).
- Experience with X-ray powder diffraction (preferred).
- Experience with Liquid Handling Robots (preferred).
