Department/Unit Summary

A Emergency Department Nurse is a compassionate and highly skilled healthcare professional who specializes in caring for emergency situations. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgement. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred
