Job Description
We are seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to lead food safety programs and quality systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with USDA, FDA, SQF, and customer requirements while building and developing a strong QA team.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the QA team.
- Oversee HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, allergen control, sanitation, and compliance programs.
- Manage audits (USDA, FDA, customer, third-party) and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Operations, R&D, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to enhance food safety and efficiency.
- Investigate quality issues, resolve customer complaints, and maintain KPI reporting.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Public Health, or related field.
- 5+ years of QA/food safety experience in food manufacturing.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, USDA, FDA, and SQF (SQF Practitioner a plus).
