Provides support to individuals with Mental Health or Co-Occurring issues in a site-based setting. These interventions are strengths based and focused on promoting recovery. This professional assists individual’s to increase their functioning so they can be successful and satisfied in the environment of their choice with the least amount of professional intervention. This is done through direct and indirect skills teaching and the development of natural and formal supports. Required Competencies include Accepting Responsibility, Setting Objectives and Goals, Prioritizing and Organizing Work, Managing Performance, Communicating Effectively, Displaying Creativity, Managing Stress, Championing the needs of the People we Support/Customers, Following Policies and Procedures, and Meeting Basic Work Expectations. Essential Job-Related Responsibilities include providing rehabilitation services, including recovery, stigma, health and wellness, and personal development; development, implementation, monitoring and revision to the Functional Assessment and Person-Centered Plan; supporting skill building activities; monitoring service utilization; providing counseling and guidance; assisting with access to community resources; preparing and completing documentation; utilizing safe crisis management techniques; developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders; directing communication with management and executives; identifying and executing growth opportunities; and performing other related duties as assigned. Pre-employment screening includes criminal background check, registry checks, drug testing, education verification, employment history verification, and driver's license and insurance if required.
