POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join our Behavioral Health Urgent Care team for a full-time night shift position.Initially, the chosen candidate will undergo training during daytime hours, within current programming hours, until we transition to a 24/7 operational model. Current operational hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM and on weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.As we transition to a 24/7 operational model, this position will evolve to three 12-hour night shifts. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer or designee, performs evaluations, diagnoses, ongoing assessments, and treatment of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and/or developmental disabilities. Identifies client needs, makes treatment plans and referrals, and provides medication management and psycho-educational support in collaboration with existing medical staff and program; performs related work as required.
