We are on the hunt for a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that structures are safe and capable of withstanding the elements. This role requires extensive knowledge and expertise in AutoCAD and other engineering software. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach, be a problem solver, and have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed designs for structural components including foundations, walls, roofs, columns, and beams using AutoCAD.
• Conduct detailed analyses of structures to assess their strength, stability, and rigidity, and ensure they meet design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, construction project managers, and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of design plans.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation including design notes, specifications, and project status updates.
• Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of projects and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Use innovative approaches to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the sustainability of structures.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical advice to stakeholders.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments, trends, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex design issues.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and building codes.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
