Company:
We are seeking a Project Manager for a leading museum dedicated to preserving cultural heritage and promoting education through interactive exhibits and research initiatives. The Project Manager will spearhead the development of a robust tool and/or database to streamline project tracking and prioritization processes.

Location:
Remote/hybrid with occasional in-person meetings at the Shapell Center.

Position Type:
Part-time, temporary (until April 30, 2025 or project completion).

Responsibilities:

• Develop a tool and/or database to organize, track, and prioritize projects and their budgets from inception to reporting.
• Document and evaluate risks and benefits associated with each project.
• Conduct requirements gathering and compile relevant project information.
• Evaluate potential solutions leveraging existing museum-licensed systems.
• Develop processes for project planning and prioritization.
• Build the tool/database and document procedures for ongoing use and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, focusing on process development rather than project execution.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Trello, Airtable, Google Suite, or similar.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in the museum sector or cultural institutions preferred.
