Job Description

Position Title:  Production Assistant

Wage: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 1:00pm-7:00pm (Wed); 7:00am-7:00pm (Thurs-Sat)

QPS Employment Group has a great Production Assistant position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Production Assistant Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Production Lead in loading parts to be heat treated.
- Assist in unloading cooled heat-treated parts.
- Assist in cracking cooled parts.
- Load heavy duty parts onto racks on a conveyor belt to be heat treated.
- Once cooled, unload parts to pallet, storing as requested.
- Complete work order request forms.
- Maintain clean and safe workstation.
- Forklift operation, once trained.
- Read work order sheets: product number, skid type, palletizing order.

Production Assistant Requirements:
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Good attendance.
- Computer knowledge.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Tolerate a humid environment.
- Ability to stand, bend and twist for 8 hours.
- Repetitive movements.
