Essential Job Duties:The postdoctoral researchers will be responsible for generating bacterial expression and reporter constructs, conducting targeted mutation and adaptive laboratory evolution experiments to improve microbial stress resilience, and performing gene expression assays and bioinformatic analyses. The postdoc will meet frequently with Dr. Amy Grunden to discuss best practices in grant writing, manuscript preparation, and mentoring.
Two (2) Postdocs will be hired from this posting.Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:Monday - Friday - 8am-5pm (as research requires)
