Function in the Job Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Job Function - Package material by the instruction on the Shop Order using the Packaging Profile or as instructed
- Keep up with the inventory of supplies, banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators and skids
- Inspect, measure, using all tools required for each job in production and shipping departments
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager in shipping and production departments
- Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethics in working as a team
- Safety minded at all times
Must have availability to work overtime.
Required Skills - Must have GED/ High School Diploma.
- Ability to read, interpret and understand written documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, signage, work instructions, shipping documents, packaging tags.
- Must possess adequate writing skills required to complete production paperwork, inspection reports, etc. as required. Must be able to effectively communicate, verbally or otherwise, to respond to real time situations where immediate communication is required.
- Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers; must have a working knowledge of common fractions and decimals. Must be able to accurately read and interpret a standard tape measure.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.
- Physical demands require frequent standing, lifting, and bending.
