GQR Healthcare is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a per diem / prn nursing job in Panorama City, California.

ICU Registered Nurse – PRN (Days)
Location: Panorama City, CA 91402
Start Date: ASAP
Orientation: ASAP (Credentialing takes ~2 weeks with Kaiser)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join a PRN pool in Panorama City. This is an ongoing PRN contract with scheduling reassessed every 4 weeks to ensure shifts are consistently worked. Candidates must be reliable, proactive, and committed to patient-centered care.

Contract Details

• Contract Length: Ongoing (6+ months possible)
• Schedule: Minimum 12 hours per week
• Shift: Days (12-hour shifts)
• On-Call: None
• Float Requirements: May be asked to float within scope of practice
• Scheduling:
  • Must commit to at least 1 shift per week (if unable, this role is not a fit)
  • Shifts are pre-booked in advance, similar to traveler scheduling
  • Monthly availability must be submitted in advance
  • Facility may cancel shifts with at least 2 hours’ notice

Requirements

• Licensure: Active California RN License (if expired, must be renewed; applicants in process should contact senator’s office for expedited handling)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience
  • At least 1 year of ICU experience
• Preferred: Travel RN experience (not required)
• Soft Skills: Team-oriented, dependable, strong patient care focus

Facility Details

• Facility Size: 218 beds
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics (ICU)
• EMR: Epic (facility specific)
• Scrubs: Royal Blue or Navy Blue
• PPE: Fully provided; fit testing available on-site
• Parking: On-site parking available
• Pay Cycle: Weekly (Sunday–Saturday)
