Part-Time Daycare Teacher (The Learning Experience of Astoria)

The Learning Experience of Astoria is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a Part-Time Floating Teacher . This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children and can confidently support classrooms ranging from infants through 4 years old .

Position: Part-Time Daycare Teacher (Floating Position)
Schedules Available:

• 8:00 AM 11:00 AM

• 3:00 PM 6:00 PM

What Were Looking For

• Experience working with children, including infants

• A nurturing, reliable, and flexible educator who can step into any classroom when support is needed

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment

• Someone comfortable with all age groups and with going between all classrooms

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers with daily routines, activities, and classroom management

• Assist with diapering, feeding, classroom prep, transitions, and supervision

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment
