We are currently seeking a *Part-Time CDL Class A Driver (Local Only – No Loads) to join our team! *
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused *CDL Class A Driver* to join our team on a part-time, on-call basis. This position involves *local driving within Ohio*, with *no out-of-state travel *at this point in time. Drivers will primarily conduct *road tests using empty, fully cleaned tankers*. Driver may also make local deliveries or pick up material using the company’s pickup truck and trailer if needed. We aim to schedule drivers work in blocks providing a *2–2.5 hours minimum per call*.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform scheduled road tests with new or prospective drivers.
* Operate empty tankers with no cargo (non-Hazmat).
* Coordinate availability based on scheduled road test needs.
* Maintain professionalism and safety standards at all times.
* Communicate clearly with team members and follow scheduled routes and times.
*Requirements:*
* Valid *Class A CDL*.
* *Standard transmission (10-speed) endorsement required*.
* *Doubles endorsement preferred*, but not required.
* Clean driving record.
* Must be dependable and flexible with availability.
* Comfortable working in a part-time, on-call capacity.
*Additional Information:*
* All routes are *local within Ohio*—no overnight or interstate travel.
* *Tankers are always empty and cleaned*—no Hazmat or TWIC required.
* This is a great position for a semi-retired driver or someone looking for supplemental income with a light workload and predictable schedule.
