Job Description
Part-Time - Staff Attorney Wanted for Columbus or Dahlonega office.
Position: Part-Time Staff Attorney for civil litigation firm (must be an Attorney)
Hours: 15 to 25 hours per week, possible remote work, must reside in Georgia
Compensation: $45.00/hr
Responsibilities:
This position serves as a support role to litigation attorneys within the firm. The applicant may be called upon to assist in drafting pleadings, discovery responses, dispositive motions, appellate briefs, etc.; to review materials received in response to party and non-party discovery efforts and prepare appropriate memos regarding same, to review depositions and prepare appropriate summaries of same; and to assist in preparation of client reports.
Qualifications:
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
Preferred experience in civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
