Job Summary

Seeking a Painter II with experience in industrial painting. Responsibilities include operating coating equipment, inspecting paint quality, ensuring efficient production, maintaining safety standards, and performing equipment maintenance. Must have attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Description

• Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems
• Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects
• Determine paint flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections or by using paint thickness gauge
• Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance
• Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout facility
• Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment
• Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures
• Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of painting equipment
• Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Assist with building shipping boxes as needed

Skills Required

• Background in industrial painting
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate ability to work independently without daily supervision

Education/Training/Certifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in industrial painting

Pay Rate/Salary

• Base Compensation: $15.20/hour - $22.80/hour (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
