Job Title: Sr Electrical Engineer

Work Environment

Responsible for performing engineering assignments of a complex nature requiring application of engineering skills. Assignments involve planning and organizing projects and the application of highly specialized knowledge in carrying out the work. Provides technical support to lower-level professionals. Typically requires 8 plus years of experience and a B.S. in Engineering. Professional Engineering certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks as assigned, applying engineering principles.
• Design modifications to the plant, including new systems, system improvements, or replacement of obsolete equipment.
• Ensure work accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, following proper configuration management.
• Utilize standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes to prepare plans and specifications.
• Coach/mentor jr. engineers in applying engineering principles in nuclear power and the standard design process.
  
  

Requirements

• Design Change Package experience
• B.S. in Engineering
• Electrical Engineering system design for Nuclear Plants
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering systems design for nuclear power plants.
• Familiarity/experience applying the standard design change process for nuclear power plants.
• Ability to mentor and guide jr. engineers as needed.
• This role involves critical contributions to the safe and efficient operation of the nuclear plant, making it an exciting opportunity for experienced electrical engineers.
