We are currently searching for an individual who is passionate about technology and helping others.
The Network/System Support Specialist performs troubleshooting and maintenance activities on NBEC’s network and computer systems as part of the NWOCA program. This role serves as primary contact between school personnel and NBEC and also assists in the design, installation, operation and maintenance of the NWOCA network infrastructure. Additionally, the specialist manages and maintains systems for NWOCA and its member districts, with a focus on cost savings and delivering value-added services.
Some responsibilities include:
Configure, monitor, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network management tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
Field technical support requests and phone calls in a pleasant, helping manner.
Maintain up-to-date network documentation and inventory.
Conduct regular network configuration and apply updates, patches, and upgrades based on the organization security program.
Collaborate with the Network Operations Supervisor and IT Services Team to provide support and collaborate with K-12 Technology Directors in all areas of technology.
Salary range is $55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience.
