Job Description

Network Engineer – TS/SCI Location: Camp Smith, HI Company: Innovatus Technology Consulting Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI Overview Innovatus Technology Consulting is seeking a mission-driven Network Engineer to support critical operations at Camp Smith. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in secure network architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization within a classified environment. You’ll be part of a high-impact team supporting national defense initiatives through resilient and secure infrastructure. Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures (LAN/WAN/VoIP) in accordance with DoD standards
Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and encryption devices
Monitor network performance and conduct proactive diagnostics to ensure uptime and security
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security protocols and respond to incidents
Maintain documentation for network configurations, diagrams, and change management
Support integration of new technologies and systems into existing infrastructure
Provide Tier III support and mentor junior engineers as needed
Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, RMF, and other DoD cybersecurity frameworks

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance (no exceptions)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in network engineering within a DoD or IC environment
Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and other enterprise-grade networking platforms
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.)
Experience with DoD cybersecurity compliance (RMF, STIGs, etc.)

Preferred Certifications

CCNA / CCNP / CISSP / Security+ / Juniper Networks Certification
ITIL or PMP a plus
