Motor Grader Operator – Experienced ( Must be proficient in cutting subgrade and finishing base material )

We are seeking a skilled Motor Grader Operator with proven experience in fine grading. This role involves operating a motor grader to precisely spread and level dirt, gravel, and road base to meet exact grade specifications for earthwork and road construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Operate motor grader to spread and level dirt, gravel, or road base according to grade specifications for road construction and maintenance
• Shape and finish shoulders, slopes, and other roadway features with precision
• Perform both fine and rough grading as required by the project
• Proactively identify and avoid potential hazards or obstructions on the job site
• Ensure operations are performed in compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• Demonstrate initiative and flexibility by assisting with other tasks and roles as needed to support project completion
• Provide supervision and guidance to crew members to ensure efficient and safe work practices

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience operating a motor grader
• At least 3 years of verifiable experience as a finish grade operator
• Proven ability to operate motor graders safely and efficiently
• Strong awareness of safety protocols and commitment to following company policies
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with operators, foremen, and truck drivers
• Reliable transportation and availability to work Monday through Saturday
• Willingness to travel to various job sites within a 50+ mile radius of our office
