Motion Graphics Designer

That is where you come in. Pragmatic Institute is seeking a passionate, creative Motion Graphics Designer to join our Product Team. This position will aid in the development of courseware and training materials through the creation of both motion graphics deliverables (including animations and explainer videos) and static graphic deliverables (including workbooks and infographics). This role will have the opportunity to deliver real impact both by helping continue to elevate our existing courses, and by helping us create the next generation of offerings by leveraging current e-learning technology.

Responsibilities

· Create compelling, product-ready motion graphics and animation deliverables to support our courseware 

· Collaborate with Product Designers, Instructional Designers, and Subject Matter Experts to execute and develop impactful animation solutions for complex content (such as infographics and other training materials)

· Assist with the development of on-demand courseware through the creation of interface animations and micro-interactions

· Support a cohesive brand experience for our learners by defining how pre-existing design system translates into motion graphics 

· Aid in the creation of other graphic materials (such as presentation decks, workbooks, and learning tools)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Motion Design, Animation, Graphic Design or a related field – or equivalent professional experience 
• 3+ years of professional experience in motion design supported by a strong portfolio, E-learning experience is a plus 
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel)
• Strong time management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Expert understanding of Animation and Design principles
• Eagerness to stay up to date on emerging design trends and emerging technologies

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with the Articulate 360 software
• Video editing experience. Proficiency in Premier Pro is a plus
• Experience creating and integrating sound effects and audio elements. Proficiency in audio editing software like Adobe Audition or Logic Pro is a plus
• UX/UI design experience with a focus on interactive animation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $65,000-75,000 annually. Pay within this range depends on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
