Mia Margherita Coal-Fired Pizzeria at Charles Pointe is now taking applications for 
Dishwashers!

Mia Margherita’s coal-fired oven celebrates pizza in its original intention. Our pizza dough is made in house. Every pizza is hand stretched and tossed by our pizzaiolos in front of our guests. The intensity of the coal-fired heat allows us to produce a very light, beautifully crispy, Neapolitan-style pizza. Moisture is retained at the center of the pie, so it's slightly chewy, too, giving customers the best of both worlds.

Mia Margherita also serves a variety of classic Italian dishes. We use high quality and fresh ingredients throughout our kitchen including making our own Bolognese and marinara sauces. The restaurant seats 125 people and offers a main dining room, full bar, private dining room, covered outdoor patio and a retail market. We are consistently rated the #1 restaurant in Bridgeport on Yelp and Trip Advisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Reliable attendance
• Punctual for all scheduled shifts
• Works well with others
• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.

The Dishwasher position appeals to an individual who enjoys being part of a professional kitchen by providing excellent service to customers, enjoys cleaning, and has an eye for detail.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a service industry is a plus (preferably hospitality)
• Passion for delivering a service that surpasses the guests’ expectations 
• Must enjoy cleaning and have an eye for detail

Requirements:

• Reliable attendance
• Punctual for all scheduled shifts 
• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit

Responsibilities:

• Your main role will be one of efficiency, ensuring servers and kitchen staff have the equipment they need to effectively serve our guests. 
• You must be able to lift and carry light loads, operate various equipment such as the dish machine, and offer your help to staff as needed.
• As a Dishwasher you will be assisting the server's by clearing tables and carrying trays to and from the kitchen.
• All other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or the Executive Chef. 
• As the scope of our business changes, so may the responsibilities of this position.
