Medical Scribe - On Site at Innovative Healing Systems May be asked to periodically float to other centers in the Brandon/Tampa area (mileage paid). Responsibilities Accompany provider during patient visit and scribe in real time directly into the EHR. Ensure timely and accurate submission of EHR documentation to the hospital’s medical record department to meet compliance standards in coding, billing, and clinical audits. Assist with verification of insurance authorization, receive and note it in the electronic medical record; validate it is current and act as liaison between clinic and authorization department. Communicate with provider to validate information, log referrals, and coordinate information with the authorization department. Work closely with the hospital’s Patient Access department to support denial resubmissions. Respond to issues resulting from information uploads. Participate in daily huddles, weekly case‑management meetings, and monthly staff meetings to remain informed and perform at a high level of competency. Follow up daily with the Authorization Department regarding outstanding documentation. Demonstrate a professional, positive image at all times. Qualifications Must complete and pass required medical screening, background check, and drug test. Entry‑level position; no prior experience required. Full‑time employment.
