Job Description

A premier music education institution in Weston, MA is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator for a temporary 6-10 week assignment. This hybrid role (50% in-office) runs Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and pays $25/hour. The organization offers classical and jazz music education to students of all ages and is known for its collaborative and mission-driven environment. Free parking and lunch are provided, but candidates must have their own transportation, as there is no public transit access. The role is available immediately. Job Responsibilities: Manage all social media platforms, including content creation and Facebook ads Design and produce print and digital materials for concerts, events, and marketing Write newsletters, blog posts, and press releases Coordinate with vendors, videographers, and internal staff for events and print orders Maintain and update the website, mailing lists, and online ticketing Promote and support special events, and occasionally assist on evenings or weekends Candidate Qualifications: Strong writing, communication, and project management skills Proficiency in tools such as Mailchimp, Canva or Adobe Suite, Meta Business Suite, and website platforms (WordPress/Wix) Familiarity with classical or jazz music is a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
