Overview 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to manage and optimize our supply chain and distribution processes. The Logistics Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods, inventory management, and timely delivery to customers or clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

What You’ll Do 

• Coordinate Shipments: Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods to clients or internal departments. 

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock movements. 

• Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient operations. 

• Documentation: Prepare and review shipping documents, such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork. 

• Problem-Solving: Address any issues or delays in transportation and resolve any discrepancies in deliveries or inventory. 

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies. 

• Data Management: Maintain accurate logs of shipment tracking, delivery statuses, and inventory records using logistics software or databases. 

• Communication: Liaise between internal departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure the flow of information is clear and timely. 

• Reporting: Generate reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and inventory levels for management review. 

What We Are Looking For 

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, and inventory management  

• Extensive knowledge of warehouse analytics and key performance indicators 

• Understanding of domestic and international intermodal transportation and documents 

• Experience working with vendors and outside stakeholders (e.g. 3PLs, carriers, freight forwarders) 

• Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and EDI a plus 

• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, preferably start-up work environment 

• Self-starter and team player with creative problem-solving skills 

• Superior multi-tasking and collaboration skills 

• Strong interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills
