Job Description

The Military Division of Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for a Maintenance Technician for their Tunnel City WI facility, located approximately half-way between Milwaukee WI and Minneapolis MN. As a leading frac sand mining company, their team of industry experts offer technical and engineering support through customers relationships in all major oil and gas shale plays.

* REQUIRED: They are specifically seeking candidates with U.S. military experience. *

Significant experience as a Diesel, Tank, or Heavy Equipment Technician with some exposure to electrical experience will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!

Compensation: $30.00-33.00/hour (plus relo)

What You Will Do:

• Clean, lubricate and conduct routine services on heavy-duty equipment & vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment.
• Adjust equipment and replace faulty parts; repair damaged equipment parts, performing major repair work as needed.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.

Education and Work Experience

• 4+ years US Military experience required.
• Experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic required; must have product knowledge of gas, diesel, electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Proficient use of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments, laptops, diagnostic software and cranes and rigging equipment.
• Knowledge of database software, internet software, & manufacturer software.
