**Position Overview:**
The Maintenance Reliability Engineer, reporting to the Director of Maintenance & Engineering, is tasked with enhancing the operational reliability of process and packaging systems. This role focuses on improving overall equipment effectiveness through effective maintenance planning, problem-solving, machine analysis, technical training, and the application of predictive maintenance strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with process engineering, training, and operations teams to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
+ Develop and implement technical training programs for Operator Based Maintenance, including skills matrices and competency assessments.
+ Assist in creating design and installation specifications and commissioning plans to ensure equipment reliability and maintainability.
+ Contribute to the evaluation and selection of equipment, technical MRO suppliers, and maintenance service providers.
+ Oversee the final inspection of new installations, including factory and site acceptance testing to ensure compliance with functional specifications.
+ Lead initiatives to ensure the reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, and control systems.
+ Systematically define, design, develop, monitor, and refine asset maintenance plans, including value-added preventive maintenance tasks and predictive testing methodologies.
+ Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other issues affecting plant operations, including capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance.
+ Utilize data analysis techniques such as statistical process control, reliability modeling and prediction, fault tree analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and root cause failure analysis (RCFA).
+ Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and technical personnel.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
+ Demonstrated experience in maintenance reliability engineering.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
+ Proficiency in predictive maintenance principles and data analysis techniques.
