Job Description

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Nurse- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Home Health Nursing Team to provide individualized physician directed care to pediatric patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and be able to work independently.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for delivering quality skilled care to the pediatric population in the home setting for 8–12 hour shifts
• Enables child to remain at home with their family instead of an in-patient facility
• Care for clients that have serious illnesses or disabilities may be recovering from serious injuries or extensive surgery
• Will be expected to assess their clients' conditions during every visit. This may include taking a client's vital signs, care and maintenance of gastrostomy tubes, seizure activity monitoring, tracheostomy care and maintenance, and/or care and maintenance of CPAP/BiPAP/ventilators.

Qualifications:

• Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas
• 6 months pediatric home health care as an Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) preferred but not required
• Current CPR card, Driver’s License, and Auto Liability Insurance

• Full-Time and Part-Time openings available
