Job Description

McLaren Northern Michigan is in need of an APP for the following dates:

10/20/2024 7am - 7am 10/25/2024

10/31/2024 7am - 7am 11/4/2024

11/15/2024 7am - 7am 12/1/2024

12/18/2024 7am - 7am 12/20/2024

1/1/2025 7am - 7am 1/3/2025

CTS APP - Northern

The APPs work until done and then the Locums is on call the rest of the night. They can leave the hospital once everything is done which is usually around 3 pm. Usual arrival to get to the hospital is between 0600 and 0630.

• Candidate MUST have active MI license - not accepting IMLC
• Start - 30 days to allow for hospital credentialing (provider billing will be done under physician)
• 1-2 providers needed
• 10 consecutive days of concurrent night/day shift per month
• 8 hour on-site, inpatient shift with remainder on-call/coverage
• 24/7 call support - will take first call - reasonable volume but not overwhelming
• Prefer experience (including ICU)
• Vein harvesting required
• No clinic - inpatient only including OR hospital rounding (including ICU)
• 10 consecutive days of concurrent night/day shift (usually the 21st - 1st )
• First available assignment is Jan 21 - Feb 1.

Expenses:

Car, fuel, mileage, hotel is a BR0 cap (including taxes)rental must be refueled before being returned

Do NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees

No lodging booked through 3rd party websites, ie expedia, kayak, etc

McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging

Malpractice rates MUST be included in the rate

Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using Kronos - no timesheets will be approved

Requirement description : ALL MUST BE NOTATED AT THE TIME OF NAME CLEAR OR WILL BE REDIRECTED

• MI License: Required at time of name clear - no exceptions, not accepting IMLC
• Board Certified - Required
• Vein harvesting - Required - must be notated at name clear
• Covid Vaccination - Required
• Local providers, or limited travel - Required
• Clean background - Required, no exceptions
• Rates must be submitted at time of name clear - Required, will not send to client without rates
• On call daily rate - Per 24 hours, to include 8 hr shift M-F plus night call
• DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear

• Board Certified
