Title: Live In Domestic Couple

Location: Nassau County, NY

Compensation and benefits: Salary: $240,000-250,000 + discretionary bonus + 15 days PTO 1st yr + M/D insurance + 401(k)

Position Summary: A private family is seeking an experienced Live In Domestic Couple to maintain their private estate and assist with the functioning of the home. The ideal couple will have at least 10 years of experience working as a Domestic Couple.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping and Maintenance:

• Oversee interior and exterior property maintenance.
• Serve as a Handyman to perform light repairs and maintenance on the property.
• Act as a point of contact to oversee vendors and contractors servicing the property.
• Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.

Errands and Driving:

• Provide driving services for the principals when needed.
• Ensure all vehicles are serviced, registered and cleaned periodically.
• Run errands as needed.

Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory of perishable food, pantry items, medicine supplies, toiletries, dry goods, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Domestic Couple.

Skills:

• Ability to perform light repairs and oversee maintenance tasks of interior and exterior structures.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic patterns in Nassau County and Manhattan.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and coordinating with other staff.

Other:

• Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
• Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
