Exciting Opportunity: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Location: Gloversville, New York

Job Types: Full-time

Competitive pay and incentives: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Your Day-to-Day Might Include:

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or group counseling based on your expertise and interest areas
  • Use evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approaches
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive treatment plans and progress notes
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, collegial environment
  • Participate in case consultations, supervision (if needed), and continuing education
  • Deliver therapy both in-office and via telehealth, depending on client and clinician preferences

Requirements

  • Hold a valid LMHC license in New York State
  • Are passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, life transitions, or relationship challenges
  • Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and professionalism in your clinical approach
  • Are self-motivated and organized, with strong communication skills
  • Embrace diversity and inclusivity in your practice
  • Are open to collaboration, feedback, and continuous professional growth
