Connect Staffing is working exclusively with a respected law firm to fill a Legal Assistant opening in Los Angeles, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigation assistant to join a collegial team and play a key role in supporting attorneys on complex civil litigation matters.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare, format, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence for state and federal filings (including CM/ECF).
Handle e-filing in federal, state, and appellate courts.
Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and case progression.
Open and maintain client files, ensuring compliance with firm procedures.
Provide high-level administrative support, including scheduling, travel arrangements, expense tracking, and time entry.
Assist with client communications while maintaining strict confidentiality.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 5+ years of civil litigation experience in a law firm setting.
Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and filing procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, iManage, ChromeRiver, BestAuthority, etc.
Labor & Employment experience is a plus.

Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime may be required during peak times, with OT pay).
Location: Los Angeles, CA (hybrid schedule with onsite parking).
