Job Description

Position Summary:

The Lead Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, accountability, and integrity of financial transactions related to the parking operations. This position is responsible for leading a team of three full-time auditors, overseeing daily reconciliations of revenue and transaction records, and ensuring all audit practices meet internal standards and compliance requirements, and will be partnering with IT and data management teams to ensure accuracy within their internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of 3 full-time auditors in daily tasks and performance goals.
  • Oversee daily reconciliation of parking revenue, including cash, credit, reservations, mobile payments, and validations.
  • Monitor and verify accuracy of transaction reports, PRCS system data, and shift summaries.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in reported revenue or operational procedures.
  • Train and mentor audit staff on best practices, policies, and new technologies.
  • Coordinate with parking management, accounting, and IT teams to ensure audit continuity and process improvements.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports for review by upper management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, airport policies, and applicable financial regulations.
  • Lead internal audit projects as assigned and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or data entry roles.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role such as Lead Auditor, Supervisor, or Manager.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with audit/accounting software systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Must pass airport background checks and security clearance requirements.

$25/hr to $28/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
