Lab Manager

Seattle based client

Remote is ok- happy to take a local resource from WA

Duration -9-10 months

POS= Point of Sale. These are for big coffee chain client in Seattle.

Make sure the skills are clearly under each project showing what they did with each. Make sure ONLY THE CANDIDATE updates the resume. (I have had way too many candidates tell me a recruiter changed their resume without their permission).

Submit copies of DL, VISA, LinkedIn, and local address utility bill. GC/USC/GC EAD, No H1, OPT or CPT allowed.

Key Note from Manager

Candidate will need to manage the POS lab.

Should have experience with POS systems, imaging, networking capabilities.

Linux and windows OS.

It is more on the networking / POS side.

They do testing as required.

1. Testing new coffeehouse software releases and fixes.

1. Evaluating coffeehouse tech proof-of-concept projects such as NGPOS running on Linux OS.

1. Analyzing and reproducing technology issues reported from stores.

1. Providing a safe environment for technical support teams to conduct training.

1. Supporting mobile device testing with dependencies on working Wi-Fi/SML capabilities.

1. Supporting robust workflow, system integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing environments.
2. Publishing and maintaining lab layout birds-eye (AKA top view) to identify store set-up, purpose of each store, and active user(s)
3. Implement an Asset / Inventory Mgmt tool to 1/ ensure we have an accurate, viewable (by anyone with a Starbucks domain) count of inventory of all hardware assets used in the lab 2/ helps us track if test stores are being used and can flag inactivity 3/ identify if a test store is available for use or checked out
