Gate 39 Media is a leading software engineering, web development, and marketing agency specializing in the financial and agricultural services industries. We build custom software, websites, and marketing solutions-from corporate presences to client and operations portals that help businesses grow-as well as sales and service solutions. Office location in downtown Chicago. Position can be remote or hybrid depending on candidate's location. We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer specializing in Cloud Computing services to join our team. Work on deployments, configurations, infrastructure, and support across a range of project types in the financial and agriculture industries in an Agile development environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deployment and configuration of technologies and tools used in software development, including server deployment, version control systems, and infrastructure automation frameworks. Support the development team in resolving problems with infrastructure and software deployments. Access control and vulnerability management assistance, and monitoring and maintaining system security. Monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure and services deployed on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Provide level 1 support to troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues as necessary. Support hours are weekdays from 3:00p CT to 12:00a CT. Communicate clearly and precisely with customers and team members. Maintain accurate and timely records in ticket tracking system. Maintain and build infrastructure automation scripts to support Cloud management.

CORE TECH STACK

Key technologies used in this position: Amazon Web Services (AWS). Microsoft Azure. Python, Bash and PowerShell scripting. Linux and Windows operating systems. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science or another relevant field. Cloud computing understanding. Linux and Windows system administrator skills. Problem-solving skills. COMPENSATION:

$40,000 - $45,000 Annual Salary DOE
