Alliance Healthcare is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our corporate team in Far Rockaway, NY. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to build a career in healthcare accounting within a supportive and professional environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
Support the preparation of financial reports and month-end close.
Help maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
Provide support with audits and compliance-related tasks.
Work closely with senior accounting staff to learn healthcare financial operations.
Gain exposure to Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement and skilled nursing facility (SNF) accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
No prior experience necessary — training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and eagerness to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
