Our Finance internship opportunity is designed to give you real-world finance and accounting experiences and project responsibility in a large manufacturing organization. In addition to being assigned to a manager and team, you will get additional opportunities to experience our corporate culture with exposure to finance leaders, as well as other leaders in the organization. To ensure projects are ambitious and meet the needs of our dynamic business, final project assignments will not be resolved until late spring. Interns will be asked to present an end of assignment presentation to their team of colleagues at the end of their internship.

As an AMETEK Finance intern, you will have the opportunity to focus on the following finance functions:

• Reporting and Analysis of Key Performance Indicators
• Customer and Product Profitability Analysis
• Financial Planning & Analysis
• Inventory Management and Cost Accounting
• General Ledger, Fixed Asset & Other Accounting
• Review and Analysis of Operating Costs
• Financial Reporting Requirements
• Forecasting and Budgeting
• SOX Compliance and Internal Controls
• Internal and External Audit Support
• Other Ad Hoc Reporting Requirements for the Business Unit, Division and/or Corporate

Location of position: Eden Prairie, MN

Requirements for Consideration:

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in the finance function
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Related work or internship experience and results oriented through initiative, ownership, and accountability
• Effective communication and writing skills
• Applicants must have unrestricted US work authorization (forms of CPT and PT are restricted work authorization)

Compensation: Hourly

Salary Minimum: $40,000

Salary Maximum: $45,000

Incentive: No
