What you will be doing as an IT Intern :
Meijer is seeking candidates for Information Technology internship opportunities in our
Information Systems (IS) Security / Cyber Security, Enterprise Systems & Tools area . Join our program to get experience in your field while also learning more about the retail industry and the breadth of career opportunities that support the customer shopping experiences.
Multiple assignments are available within the following areas:
IS Security and Enterprise Systems & Tools: The IT Enterprise Architecture, Security and Business Management team is responsible for IT security technologies, compliance and secure coding practices and processes, Human Capital Management system and enterprise solution architecture and portfolio management. Data security is of paramount importance in a retail environment.
Qualifications :
- Progress toward a bachelor's degree in Information Security / Cyber Security
- Customer focuseddedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers
- Relationship skillscan create positive working relationships with customers, team members, leadership, and other internal and external constituencies.
- Communication skillsconveys the right information in writing and verbally.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (will vary depending on specific project requirements): For Information Security and Enterprise IT and Tools: - Understanding of information security •Functional understanding of IP networking
- Knowledge of routing and firewall operations
- Knowledge of Access Control, Anti-malware software, Email security
- Knowledge of SIEM and or intrusion protection products
- Knowledge of web development, cloud services, ERP platforms and Microsoft technologies.
