Job Description

IT Manager

As the organization's IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, providing essential end-user support, and ensuring the security and compliance of our systems. You will work closely with a variety of teams, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills to achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, demonstrating a proficient understanding of networking concepts with hands-on experience in Layer 3 routing.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain wireless access points and switches.
  • Manage and administer next-generation firewalls, preferably Palo Alto Networks, ensuring robust security posture.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud services, including comprehensive administration of Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) in native and hybrid environments, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune. Experience with Microsoft Purview and Sentinel is highly valued.
  • Provide exceptional end-user support for Windows 10 and 11 environments, resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Support and maintain Ubuntu desktop environments.
  • Provide macOS administration and troubleshooting within a corporate setting.
  • Offer mobile device support for iOS and Android devices within an M365-integrated ecosystem.
  • Utilize advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve complex issues across a variety of platforms and systems.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including clear technical procedures and user guides.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and initiatives.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Contribute to maintaining a secure and compliant IT environment.
  • Other duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient understanding of networking concepts with hands-on experience in Layer 3 routing.
  • Experience configuring and managing Meraki wireless access points and switches.
  • Experience managing next-generation firewalls, preferably Palo Alto Networks.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud services, including administration of Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) in both native and hybrid environments, as well as OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune.
  • Experience providing end-user support for Windows 10 and 11 environments.
  • Familiarity with supporting Ubuntu desktop environments.
  • Experience with macOS administration and troubleshooting in a corporate setting.
  • Mobile device support experience for iOS and Android within an M365-integrated ecosystem.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a variety of platforms and systems.
  • Strong documentation skills, including the ability to produce clear technical procedures and user guides.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across business and engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics succinctly to diverse audiences (e.g., Engineers and Executives).

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Exposure to regulated IT environments, with a strong preference for experience in DFARS, CMMC, and ITAR-compliant environments.
  • Experience with DISA STIG or CIS benchmarks for hardening multiple technology platforms.
  • Experience working with System Security Plans, System Baselines, and other artifacts required for CMMC and other Authority to Operate packages.

Compensation:

  • $130,000 - $160,000, Salary may vary with experience
