Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Availability Clerk to join our team.

As an Inventory Availability Clerk with cycle counting and replenishment duties, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the availability of products for our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include cycle counting, replenishment, inventory receipts and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to coordinate replenishment of inventory based on stock levels and demand.
  • Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, and update inventory records accordingly.
  • Perform data entry and maintain inventory databases with real-time information.
  • Assist in the organization and optimization of inventory storage, ensuring efficient space utilization.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and trends for management review.
  • Participate in periodic audits and collaborate with the finance team to reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the inventory storage areas.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management procedures.
  • Operate forklifts or other equipment as required, following safety guidelines.
  • General housekeeping and 5S responsibilities include, but are not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and organizing storage and work area.
Requirements:

We are seeking:

· High school diploma or equivalent; education or certification in inventory management is a plus.

· 3 years proven experience as an inventory clerk or similar role, with a focus on cycle counting & replenishment.

· Forklift experience and certification, or willingness to be certified.

· Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

· Physical ability to lift and move product as needed.

· Familiarity with safety protocols in a warehouse environment.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

· Ability to occasionally lift up items up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois

Full-Time: 8 hour shift, Monday-Friday
