POSITION SUMMARY

We are a growing healthcare company seeking a Quality Assurance & Compliance Consultant with a legal background to join our team. This role helps our company meet the highest standards of compliance with health plan contracts and business agreements and develops and implements audit and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry. Estimated contract length: 1+ years

 

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position is remote.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Oversee compliance with health plan contracts
• Contribute to development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance protocols
• Monitor and assess compliance risks
• Provide legal guidance on business and vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals
• Advise on contract law matters, including negotiation, drafting, and reviewing contracts related to operations
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that support the company's compliance and legal objectives
• Identify areas where in-house compliance and legal capabilities can be enhanced, and where external expertise is required
• Provide insights and recommendations based on industry knowledge
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• 5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare compliance and contract law
• Distraction-free home workspace with a secure internet connection

NICE TO HAVES

• JD (Juris Doctor) or equivalent legal degree from an accredited law school
