We are currently seeking an inspHire Career Coach to guide clients through the full employment-placement process. This role helps participants apply professional development principles, set achievable career goals, and develop long-term strategies for success in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Support

  • Meet with clients during Professional Development sessions to assess skills and prepare forecast reports for job matching in the ETO database.

  • Support clients in completing core deliverables: Wonderlic Test, resume, State of Florida application, and mock interview.

  • Ensure completion of Interest Inventory Assessments and Employment Profiles.

  • Conduct mid-term and final evaluations, documenting strengths and growth areas.

  • Review case notes in ETO to provide tailored coaching and employment planning.

  • Deliver case management and assessments aligned with organizational needs.

  • Lead group Employability Workshops using case studies and workplace-relevant content.

  • Confirm pre-interview drug screens are completed and cleared.

  • Provide client transportation to interviews when needed.

  • Debrief after interviews and support follow-up communication.

  • Coordinate with the Business Development Manager and Case Manager to prepare clients for their first day (attire, documentation, expectations).

  • Maintain consistent contact with clients to address job-related concerns and record updates in ETO.

  • Organize vocational training opportunities through community partners.

Collaboration

  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Business Development Manager to discuss client readiness and job prospects.

  • Work with the Professional Development Instructor to schedule and support employability workshops.

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of professional development modules as needed.

Community Partnership Work

  • Learn and understand local employer needs while promoting the value that returning citizens can bring to the workforce.

  • Complete 90-day site visits to strengthen relationships during client probation periods.

  • Coordinate community service activities to expand ABM’s presence.

  • Conduct outreach that informs new and potential partners about available services and resources.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on federal, state, and county policies related to reentry and justice-involved individuals.

  • Prepare reports, memos, and other documentation supporting ABM’s inspHire Program.

  • Career Coach Certification is highly desired. If not certified, candidates must obtain certification while employed.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in human services.

  • Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software.

  • Demonstrated experience in business-to-business sales or a performance-driven field.

  • Experience working with underserved communities and individuals in crisis.

  • Strong documentation, writing, and communication skills.

  • Ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse populations.

  • Motivational skills and a passion for empowering others.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding clients and colleagues.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle legally.

  • Professional appearance and adherence to company dress code.

  • Prior job coaching or nonprofit experience is a plus.
