We are seeking an In-House Web Designer to join our team! As a Web Designer, you will be pivotal in crafting visually appealing and user-friendly websites while optimizing them for search engines. Your expertise in Javascript, XML, PHP, WordPress, and SEO, as well as your proficiency in photo editing and essential graphic design functions, will be crucial to your success in this role.

A creative visionary with a knack for developing websites representing the organization and offering customers a user-friendly experience. You are a fast-paced and efficient worker who is ready to jump in to take on the following key responsibilities:

• Can design and develop responsive, intuitive websites using WordPress, ensuring high functionality and aesthetics.

• Create back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms

• Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content, structure, and performance for improved search engine rankings.

• Collaborate with key decision-makers to gather requirements and translate them into engaging web experiences.

• Analyze user needs to implement website content, graphics, performance, and capacity.

• Integrate websites with other computer applications.

• Some basic photography and photo editing experience is helpful for in-house content creation.

• Support basic graphic design tasks to create compelling visuals for web content.

• Some social media experience.

• Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in web development or other related fields.

• Expert-level proficiency in WordPress, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress-based website designs.

• In-depth understanding and practical experience in SEO principles and best practices.

• Proficiency in photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) and basic graphic design skills.

• Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

NOT MANDATORY BUT A PLUS:

• Experience with e-commerce platforms and plugins (e.g., WooCommerce).

• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices.

• Knowledge of responsive design techniques for mobile optimization.

STARTING WAGE IS $55,000 with potential of up to $65,000 based on experience.
