Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Salary: 100k150k

Compensation:

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Senior Immigration Attorney to join our esteemed law firm in North Miami Beach, Florida. This exceptional opportunity is designed for a highly skilled attorney with a strong passion for deportation defense and asylum protection, and a desire to lead by example in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert representation to clients in deportation defense and asylum protection cases, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes and protecting the rights of our clients.
  • Handle complex and challenging immigration cases, including bond hearings, asylum claims, and deportation defense.
  • Develop and lead the firm's asylum protection practice, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding the firm's reputation in this critical area of immigration law.
  • Collaborate with the firm's team to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to the development of the firm's immigration law practice.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and mentoring of junior attorneys, and provide guidance and support to ensure the continued growth and success of the firm's immigration law practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Admitted to the Florida Bar, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in deportation defense and asylum protection.
  • Proven track record of success in handling complex and challenging immigration cases, including deportation defense and asylum protection.
  • Exceptional analytical, writing, and advocacy skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop effective case strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds and provide expert guidance and support.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple cases and deadlines, and contribute to the firm's commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degrees in law or a related field, such as a Master's degree in Immigration Law or a LL.M. in International Law.
  • Courtroom experience, including trial and appellate advocacy, and a strong record of success in handling complex and challenging immigration cases.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, including Spanish, Haitian Creole, or other languages commonly spoken in the Miami-Dade community.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of attorneys and support staff.
