About the Clinician's WorkdayThis Emergency Medicine position requires board certification or eligibility in EM, along with current ACLS and PALS certifications. COVID vaccination is mandatory. The facility sees an annual patient volume of 18,500, with an average of 2.1 patients per hourpeak volumes occurring between 9 AM and 11 PM. The emergency department has 14 beds and uses EPIC for documentation. Shifts run from 6 AM6 PM and 6 PM6 AM, with APC support from 10 AM to 10 PM. There is no scribe coverage, and providers are responsible for tuck-in admitting orders. The facility does not have a trauma center designation.
