Thomas Mechanical is one of the fastest growing Mechanical Contractors in the Upstate of South Carolina. We are taking on more projects and are looking to expand by hiring a HVAC PROJECT MANAGER to work in a team-first environment.

Founded in 2004, Thomas Mechanical is an independently owned, growing full-service mechanical contractor focused on delivering turnkey HVAC and mechanical services to a strong base of commercial and industrial customers. Thomas Mechanical is located conveniently along interstate 385 in Laurens County, South Carolina and services a wide range of customers throughout the Upstate of South Carolina. We are currently operating in a new 20,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility. Come join our team!

The ideal candidate will have Commercial Construction Project Manager experience and excellent time management skills. HVAC and Estimating experience are a plus. Lack of HVAC specific experience is not a disqualifier. The Project Manager oversees all activities pertaining to the assigned projects including budget, scheduling, material procurement and supporting field crews. The Project Manager will be able to communicate with customers and resolve any questions about HVAC installation. The Project Manager should understand construction project management from start to finish.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated HVAC Project Manager to immediately join the team of this well-established business. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager. We are looking for someone with a demonstrated ability of delivering exceptional customer service (both internal and external customers), planning, scheduling, executing and closing out construction projects as well as generating new commercial HVAC sales from legacy and new customers. This is an excellent role for a goal-oriented, self-starter looking to build and grow within Thomas Mechanical’s organization.

• Proven ability at leading construction projects
• Time management skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to professionally resolve any customer and/or team member complaints/issues
• Abide by all company, industry, and customer safety guidelines
• Work effectively in a team environment

PREFERRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of direct project manager experience (2 years required)
• Relevant degree or training from university, community or technical school or equivalent industry experience
• HVAC and estimating experience
• Great driving record and clean criminal background check

SCHEDULE:

• 4 – 10 hour shifts (Monday-Thursday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
• Overtime on Fridays and weekends as needed
