Job Description
SUMMARY
The Summer Intern will be a highly motivated individual that is responsible for assisting department heads on special projects and other assigned tasks. The internship will be a temporary position not expected to exceed 10-week term. Responsibilities will include formulating a special report at the end of the term to showcase research results and company recommendations.
DUTIES
Assists with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource related issues.
Provides support on projects and implementations as assigned.
Provides assistance by answering employee requests and questions.
Reports safety issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
Must be able to report to assigned location when necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field.
Ability to work independently and with others.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Reliability and timeliness.
Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively as a team.
Minimum 2.7 GPA or higher.
Letter of recommendation.
PREFERRED SKILLS Prior experience in case studies or research reporting.
